About AgroMex Direct
Direct-from-Mexico dried chiles. We grow, cure, and grade at our own dehydration plant in Zacatecas, then warehouse and ship from Dallas. We don't broker. We don't drop-ship.
Why we exist
AgroMex Direct was founded by Preston Aguinaga to shorten the supply chain between Mexican chile growers and U.S. food manufacturers. The traditional path — grower to broker to importer to repacker to buyer — adds three to five hands and weeks of transit before the chile gets to your line. We removed all of that. One operation, end to end.
The operation
- Plant: 12-tunnel industrial dehydration facility in Zacatecas, Mexico. Per cycle: 27,878 lbs of fresh chile in, 5,575 lbs dried out — every 4 hours.
- Annual throughput: 250,000 lbs of finished, lot-traced dried chile per year.
- Grower base: 120+ direct contracts with farmers and vendors across Mexico.
- Dallas warehouse: 2501 E Ann Arbor Ave, Dallas, TX 75216 — FOB Dallas, TX.
- FDA Food Facility Registration #: 11915528784
What we sell
Two SKUs — chile pasilla seco and chile ancho seco. Whole, slow-cured. The chiles our wholesale buyers actually run through their lines for mole, salsa, adobo, and restaurant prep. We don't carry forty SKUs. We deepen these two.
Who we ship to
Salsa and sauce manufacturers · mole producers · spice importers and repackagers · food service distributors · restaurant groups and large taquerías · ethnic grocery chains. Request a wholesale quote →
